Assamese Singer Zubeen Garg Passes Away at 52 in Singapore After Scuba Diving Accident

Legendary Assamese singer Zubeen Garg has tragically passed away at the age of 52 in Singapore following a scuba diving accident.
According to reports, Garg was rescued from the sea by Singapore police and rushed to a hospital, where he was admitted to the intensive care unit. Despite doctors’ best efforts and continuous monitoring, he could not recover. The hospital has now officially confirmed his death.
Garg had travelled to Singapore to perform at the North East Festival, where he was scheduled to take the stage on Wednesday.
The news of his untimely passing has left fans and well-wishers across Assam and the Northeast in deep shock. Many had been offering prayers for his recovery ever since the initial reports of the accident surfaced.
